PT. Bhineka Tatamulya Industri is a producer of Coextruded Cast Polypropylene (CPP) Films for flexible packaging. The company was established in 1992 and started its commercial production in 1994. By the end of 2014, the company has an annual name plate capacity of 60,000 metric tons as well as 38,000 tons of metallization capacity. With this output, PT. Bhineka Tatamulya Industri may be considered to be the biggest Cast Polypropylene (CPP) and metallized film manufacture in South East Asia and top 3 (three) in Asia. The company has also been awarded ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 22000:2005.
PT. Bhineka Tatamulya Industri is located in Bekasi, about 30 km from the heart of Jakarta covering an area of 110,000 m², and houses 9 Cast Lines of web width ranging from 2.6m to 4.8m. These machines are state of the art technology from Mitsubhisi of Japan, Europe (Austria & Germany), the U.S.A Davis-Standard, and Battenfeld. Supporting primary slitting machines are of European Atlas, KAMPF and Japanese (Fuji Tekko) origin.
The Metallizing division has 10 units of metallizer, 4 of which are British made (GVE) metallizers (1.65m, 3m, 3.35m and 5m wide), and 5 units are Italian made (Galileo), and the latest 2.45m TOPMET metallizer from Germany. The 5m of GVE metallizer is the first widest metallizer in the world.
About a third of the films produced by the company are exported regularly to various countries including ASEAN member countries, Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Bangladesh, Japan, the Middle-East, Srilangka, Taiwan, and The U.S.A
